Progress update of Hearing Vietnam #1

Intro

“The audiobooks department, we are currently creating the scripts and formulating the audiobooks. The scripts will be written in english, then translated over to Vietnamese, to help aid the hearing impaired students. The audiobooks will vary in difficulty, ranging from beginner to intermediate.” — From Noah Khor of the Audio Book Department

Hy Vong 1 (2017)

On April 7, we visited Hy Vong 1 School for the Deaf. We organized English lessons and made them listen to our new audiobooks by bone conduction headphones. It was a successful visit as we transformed learning for the hearing impaired students!

Hy Vong 1

On December 21, 2016, the Hearing Vietnam club visited Hy Vong 1 school to donate and teach the students about bone conduction. This event was a success and was an eye-opening experience for the hearing impaired students who were listening to audiobooks/music for the first time in their life. In the future, Hearing Vietnam hopes to continue transforming education for the hearing impaired students in Vietnam by providing bone conduction technology to their school.
